A Father to the Fatherless and a Defender of widows is GOD in His Holy Abode. Psalm 68:5. He "is everything to everyone." 1 Corinthians 15:28
God (the Universal Heart) is a stream to the parched land, a Light in the darkness, a Lover to the loveless, a Friend to the friendless, a cup of overflowing joy to anyone who thirsts after rirghteousness.
MAN (Male & Female) was created in GOD's image.
I couldn't exactly remember but I've read in the pages of one Jewish source that If Adam was created in the Image of the Father, Eve was created in the Image of the HS (God's Shekinah).
Man (represents the King's strength and courage, and every positive male attributes) and Woman (represents the H.S. Gentleness and Beauty and every positive feminine attributes). Abel who sacrificed a Lamb as a burnt offering on the other hand represents the Son (Messiah the Prince).
And that is M-A-N created in G-O-D's image.

But "OUR" Heavenly Father calls us unto Himself to "BE" His children. Praise God! We are His and He is "OUR" Father. We are His children through the faith that Jesus gives us. We worship and adore Him. We reverence the Name of Jesus. His rule and reigns in "OUR" hearts as we seek to do His perfect will. It is He that gives us the Heavenly power to do so.
