If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain .
,
love is kind.
It does not envy,
it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails....
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. Corinthians 13:1-8a and 13
There is either Free-Unconditional Love that has its soure in God or there is self-love creating contracts, conditions under which this egoistic love will stay. If these are broken such 'love' is hurt, offended and it ends. Just then there is the right time for the soul to CALL the Only LOVE. To call it with the soul's whole will! To cry for it from the very bottom of the heart. Love-God comes to all that really are hungry of it , who realise they are totally empty, they are nothing on their own, only able to commit great evil with their both hands without this Love-Person.
May this Love always Bless you!!!
Come Holy Spirit with Your Love and fill the hearts of all Those Brothers and Sisters who are reading it now. Dearest Daddy-Light, you have no beginning and no end, me move in your Holy Presence all the time: hold us always close to your Loving Heart. Never let us go away.
'Let us hurry up to love people. They go away so quickly.'
My favorite contemporary Polish poet, father Jan Twardowski ,who passed away a few years ago, said it in one of his poems. We never know how long a given person is going to stay in our life. Even when it seems that somebody will be there for years it may suddenly turn out that this person either dies unexpectedly or because of some reasons loses touch with us. We never know for sure how long they are going to be with us.
Besides , our own time also flies so quickly and before we even realise it will be over too.Sooner or later our death will come . And when we will be looking back at our times there on Earth will we be satisfied with what we will see? Let us hurry up to love others. When we die it will no longer be important how much money and honours we have collected and we won't be able to add even one act of pure love to our gone lives. When we will be looking back at our lives the only thing we will be searching for will be LOVE and Mercy and how we responded to it, how much of it we shared with others.
And although many say time is money do not believe them. As another Polish man said -a catholic priest Cardinal Wyszynski -'Time is love'. So let us really hurry up to love others.
Love, trust and respect we give to others are like good soil for a plant. They let the plant develop to its very best.We may not always see the plant growing but it does not mean it is not.
I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was 18. I entrusted Him my entire life. A few months later as a university student I happened to be at some charismatic meeting where people were praying for baptism in Holy Spirit. I decided to open up for this prayer ,although I had no idea what it was at that time, and when they were praying over me with their hands laid on my head I sank in prayer too. What I soon felt trespassed my all senses, emotions and imagination. Suddenly I was all immersed in Vast Loving Presence, so pleasant, joyful, happy, warm , peaceful One that I felt absolutely and completely HAPPY.YES, ABSOLUTELY AND COMPLETELY HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was like heaven!!! I could not contain all this happiness. Yes, it was the Living Holy Spirit- the Spirit of Love and Joy that I was 'drunk' with.
One can hardly compare it to anything because nothing compares to this LOVE I felt. Let me just tell you that my whole being was so thankful to God that I answered back with incredible amount of joy and prayer. I started praying in tongues too. This song of praise that flew from me ,totally without any or with very little effort on my side, was there in me day and night. Hard to explain but I would sleep at night and there my soul remained awake expressing gratefulness and love to the One who had loved me first. I just could not help praying or actually praising this only LOVE.
There came healing too. Times of past pains and sorrows kept returning to me as short flashes but only to SEE that all these times Jesus was there next to me.He had been with me all the times when I felt rejected and hurt. He was there by my side, compassionate and loving.
My journey with Living God started like this. It is not finished. All I have not been able to stop doing since that time is praising the Living, Loving God for all His free grace for me.
